I Would Die Cut

These are out of this world! I just spotted them over at FPO and holy begeebies, I had to re post!

That die cut is incredible. I am totally jealous of Uncle Pear, and the fact that the Dude gets to hand these out to people. The design might not be the most amazing thing in the world, but the execution totally pulls it off! Now I am talking like my freshman year design professor. Craziness.

Stamp Your Face

I will be the first to admit, I hated linoleum cutting in school. It was always way too precise and one mistake could ruin it all. Not my thing, at all. But in light of this, I majorly appreciate it when someone can do what I never could.

Lise Grossmann makes the most adorable personalized linoleum cuts in her Etsy shop, lilimandrill. She really gears these works towards bride and grooms to be, because of the personalization element involved with weddings. They really would be such a playful way to personalize invites or envelopes, if that is your thing.

I really enjoy the idea of incorporating something like a stamp, that is different every time you use it, into your personal branding or branding for your wedding. It makes every piece you do personalized in its own little way, like you were taking the time to make it all the more special for that particular recipient.

So what do you think? Would you use it, or is it just a little creepy?

Animal Obsession

One must love Etsy. It is impossible not to find something that just makes you fall head over heels.

TsuruBride is, in a word, clever. They are original and whimsical. There is nothing you can't love about these purses. I would love to have one in my collection, however purposeless The Hubs may think it is. Their Orwell Collection is simply one of a kind. Where else can you find purses in tons of really cool animal shapes?!

Oh, and for those of you that are just slightly intimidated by carrying around an alligator, they have change purses and business card holders!

They are just adorable, and totally awesome. And don't tell me they won't go with anything, those models are totally pulling these off in dresses I would wear!

And even more awesome, with Etsy being what it is, they will do custom animals for you!

Defiantly check out the Estsy store here. They have added about five new items since I started writing this post. It is without a doubt worth a look!
